Well if you have been doing Insanity then you know Shaun T has some great 1 liners. I have been saying I need to write them down, so here are a few from yesterdays plyo cardio circuit. More to come… Feel free to add your own 😉

If you don’t know who Shaun T is then maybe it is about time! It is funny when you do this training and watch the Insanity DVD’s day in day out for 60 days you really feel like you get to know not only Shaun T, but the cast. Strange? Right? Anyways quick info on the man Shaun T.

With has background in Dance and Sports Science Shaun decided to mold the two together and created Hip Hop Abs back in 2007. It was a fun dance routine, that made you sweat and more importantly lose weight. The cool thing about Hip Hop Abs was you did not have to get on the floor to work your abs… sneaky huh 😉  It was simple and easy to learn. Later he developed Rocking Body which also uses dance moves to burn that fat.

Fast forward to now and Shaun T has created the Insanity Workout to kick all of our butts! Ya gotta love it.

    – During Pure Cardio (I think) on Power Knees (semi-under his breath) – “Oh my god!!”

    – Great instruction on the Fit Test for Switch Kicks (paraphrasing) – “See, you kick your leg out, you’re doing Switch Kicks” or something obtuse like that. Lotsa help there Shaun, thx.

      I did not notice that but I am unsure of the following:
      “Neck in neutral spine”. Is spine the right word here? Or should it be spot? I have never heard of neutral spine.

    One of my favorite parts isn’t a quote exactly, but at the *very* beginning of the Core Cardio & Balance recovery week dvd, when the camera first cuts to Shaun T he totally gives himself a high five before he walks over to the other people. It cracks my wife and I up every time.

    Also in the Fit Test I think, at one point he says something like “Chris is over here DYING…” and my wife always laughs like he’s talking about me. He may as well be though…

    Love Insanity, even though I hate it.

      Haha yeah that’s Rachel and during the 3rd interval on the warm up she’s jacking and he goes “cmon Rachel that’s slow!” then calls out Mario in Pure Cardio and says “you gotta go! sit down and take a break!”

    I LOVE when Jeff almost hits Ariel, and she makes that face! And then if you keep watching, when they're shaking hands, she wipes her hands on her shorts after she shakes hands with him. LOL.     I LOVE these quotes.. Doing the Insanity workout and have to laugh every time Shaun T mentions one of these..

    Have to laugh at these Shaun T quotes on these t-shirts as well – – with the logo changed to Invanity (see what they did there?)

    Pomps, im pretty sure it's either mirror image on the cameras(unlikely) or that he says the opposite cuz u r following him in a different direction. everytime he says go into the right he goes to his left, BUT we go to our right following the moves like a mirror. either way DIG DEEPER y'all

    He says everything in reverse (in every workout) for the viewers @ home, if you notice, even Mario in one of the workouts in Month1 gets confused going the direction he says to go while everyone else is going the opposite… unless the vids are flipped and Mario is just an idiot lol but yea it's for us… -ShaunD-Round2Month2Week2Day3/-71lbs… 338 to 267 Let's Go!

    In max interval sports training he does 8 jumps then "sprints" around the 3 point line. His feet are moving so fast but his body is still; Cracks me up cuz it makes him look like road runner. Also, he should learn his right from left cuz he is always saying to put the wrong leg down!

    My absolute favorite is in the cardio recovery (month 1) when he says "this is as far as I can lift my leg because I got big quads" and then quickly admires his quad with a cocky smile. Oh, it kills me everytime!!

    And lol on the "Josh" comment earlier! I chime in with "JOSH" everytime too! Even when I'm by myself. Its a nice little break to all the seriousness.

    Not a quote, but one of my favorite parts of the whole set (just finished it tonight) is when you finish the Max Interval Circuit, and Jeff the B-boy dude does one of his moves and almost hits one of the women in the face. And Jeff doesn't even know he almost just nailed some woman- he just walks off like the cock of the walk that he is.

    Most annoying part is when he says there is only 20 seconds left of the Heisman in the Core Cardio and Balance and you really have more than 30. Always pisses me off.

    I love when the one girl that says she wants to leave and when the one says she feels like SH#* and Shaun T takes a second to process it.

    My favorite is from one of the max workouts, I think it is during hit the floor when Shaun T says "you always have to support yourself when you're going down"

    Anyone else think it is creepy when he man handles some of the dudes while they are working out?

    I also like how you memorize random parts of the video. Like in the stretch for Plyo, when Shaun says "Make sure your legs aren't too far apart." I always go "JOSH! You're such a F*#& Up!"

    I don't know why, cuz Josh kicks my ass every day, but it makes me feel better~
